Duties
- Manage the procurement of automotive parts, ensuring timely sourcing from OEM and aftermarket suppliers.
- Oversee inventory management, including tracking stock levels, ordering parts, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment.
- Utilize an order management system to streamline the ordering process and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with service technicians to understand parts requirements for various repairs, including auto body repair needs.
- Develop relationships with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Monitor logistics for incoming and outgoing parts shipments, ensuring timely delivery to meet service demands.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
- Train and supervise staff within the parts department, fostering a culture of efficiency and customer service excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive diagnostics and equipment repair is preferred.
