Merillat Consulting has partnered with a pain management & surgery clinic local to Bartlesville, OK to find an experienced and dynamic Patient Care Coordinator that will oversee the front desk operations, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for all patients and visitors. This position will handle administrative tasks, and ensure positive patient experience, all while maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors with friendly and professional demeanor.
- Oversee patient check-in and check-out processes, verifying insurance information, collecting necessary documentation, and processing payments.
- Schedule patient appointments, manage the appointment calendar, and coordinate follow-up visits.
- Answer and manage incoming calls, addressing inquiries and directing calls to the appropriate staff members.
- Maintain patient records by accurately entering and updating information in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents.
- Ensure the front desk and waiting area are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials.
Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- additional education or training in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer applications.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered service.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
- Capability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
- Exposure to various environmental conditions typical of a healthcare setting.
