A recognized health services network in Texas is currently seeking a licensed Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team in Texarkana and provide high-quality emergency care in a Level IV Trauma Center. About the Opportunity: Assignment Length: 6 months Shifts: Days or Nights Hours: 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am Setting: Emergency Department (with 10 beds) Patient Volume: approx. 28 patients per day EMR: Epic Responsibilities: Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and injuries Collaborating with hospital staff to ensure comprehensive patient care Documenting patient encounters accurately in EPIC Managing critical care and stabilization for admitted patients Performing other duties, as needed Qualifications: 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM) Completed EM or FM residency training Active and unrestricted state medical license ACLS and BLS certifications Proficiency in EMR systems Desired Skills: Prior experience in similar Emergency settings Working knowledge of EPIC
