- CONTRACT WON The Great Plains IHS Service Unit is a 45 bed hospital that serves the Sioux Native Americans.
A 16 physician staff sees medical, obstetrical, pediatric, and surgical patients.
The facility includes full service general surgery, an obstetrical ward, and dental.Pine Ridge is seeking 2 Board Certified OBGYNs to work at an IHS facility for a period of 3, 6 or 12 months.
The mission of the facility is to provide the best possible health care services to the Native American people on the Oglala Lakota (Sioux) Reservation in South Dakota.Overview : INPATIENT & OUTPATIENTON CALL EVERY NIGHTSchedule : 8A-5P Mon-Fri; 14 on / 14 offLength of contract : 3 months to 1 yearResponsibilities : Provide direct patient medical care to OB & GYN patientsAdmissions to the OB unit20-25 Deliveries & 5 C-sections per monthSurgery procedures (laparoscopic)Inter hospital transfersQualifications : Board Certified in OBGYNRecent OBGYN privileges within past 3 monthsBLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALSNRP CertificationLogs of deliveries and C-sections for the past 6 monthsTo be considered for these positions you must provide : A current CV without any gaps of 30 days or more from completion of Medical School until present; all facilities must list a city and StateOne active, unrestricted State Medical LicenseCurrent DEA3 Current References that can attest to your Clinical skills in the past 12 months (phone numbers and mailing addresses included)BLS and ACLS Certification by The American Heart AssociationBe willing to commit to a minimum of a 90 day assignmentWhat Top Docs, Inc.
