Summary of Position
The Physician / Provider Recruiter partners with Operational Leadership to develop and implement recruiting strategies that attract talented candidates to the Company. The role will lead efforts to source and screen provider candidates, including physicians and nurse practitioners and other professionals (“Providers”).
Essential Responsibilities
- Develops recruitment plans for sourcing, screening, selection, and placement of Physicians and Providers.
- Develops and maintains strong rapport with operational leadership and key leaders in the organization to appropriately staff for short- and long-term human capital plans.
- Responsible for strategically developing and executing the end-to-end recruitment plans for sourcing and screening of Providers within the Company, while ensuring superior candidate experience.
- Drives an exceptional candidate experience through every touch point in the recruiting process, regardless of outcome. Builds trust and credibility with candidates throughout the recruiting process.
- Cultivates and maintains diverse candidate pipeline utilizing sourcing and recruiting methods, databases, networking, internet, social media, media advertisements, job fairs, conferences, local and national outreach, and employee referrals.
- Develops and posts position announcements and job advertising.
- Manages correspondences with candidates.
- Maintains strict employee privacy and confidentiality when dealing with employee records.
- Keeps commitments and keeps direct supervisor informed of work progress, timetables, and issues.
- Maintains strict compliance with State, Federal and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, WC, HIPAA, ADA, FEHA, DOL, HR policies and practices).
Education & Experience
REQUIRED :
A bachelor’s degree in business administration or human resources or related field; 3-5 or more years of work experience in Talent Acquisition; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
DESIRABLE :
Experience in the healthcare industry preferred. Preferred experience with physician recruiting.
