Job Title: Lead Teacher & Preschool Floater Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher with DCF qualifications to join our team.
Shifts Available:
Preschool Teacher: 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday
with a 1 hour lunch daily
Preschool Floater Teacher: Monday through Friday
with a 1 hour lunch daily
(daily hours will be confirmed upon hiring)
Job Description:
As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a supportive and educational experience for children ages birth to 5. You will create a structured yet flexible learning environment that promotes emotional, social, and cognitive development. Working alongside other early childhood professionals, you will play a key role in fostering curiosity and independence in our young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs and interests of preschool children.
- Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning through play and exploration.
- Utilize various teaching methods, including storytelling, games, and hands-on activities, to stimulate children's curiosity and creativity.
- Monitor and document children’s progress, addressing any concerns or developmental delays.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the classroom.
- Communicate with parents and caregivers to build strong relationships and maintain open lines of communication regarding their child's development.
- Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization.- Adhere to all Department of Children and Families (DCF) licensing and accreditation standards.
Qualifications:
- Preschool Teacher must meet Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) training requirements, including the 45-hour DCF Child Care Training.
- CDA Credential or equivalent preferred.
- Preschool teacher must have minimum of 1 year of experience working in an early childhood or preschool setting.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and education best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a love for working with young children.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications (CPR, First Aid, etc.).
