Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. Duties
- Set up and operate press brake machines, ensuring proper alignment and calibration for accurate bending of materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the correct setup and tooling requirements.
- Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet required tolerances and standards.
- Utilize hand tools, and other fabrication equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to assemble components and ensure timely production schedules are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process and make necessary adjustments.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality inspection processes and techniques to ensure product integrity.
- Ability to fabricate components using various hand tools and machinery effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in all aspects of production work.
