Production Supervisor:
Indianapolis Industrial manufacturer of steel pallet racking and cantilever racking systems. Metal fabricating and finishing processes would include, cutting, punching, welding and powder coating.

Job Description
· To plan and review the assembly/welding activities of production personnel in order to ensure that all procedures and work instructions are followed while working safely and efficiently to obtain production goals.
Responsibilities
· Provide leadership/direction for developing and maintaining high performance production teams.
· Identify and change work techniques and delegate tasks to ensure the highest level of safety, quality, and productivity.
· Provide/Delegate training to all employees on current and/or new procedures.
· Monitor production standards throughout the shift.
· Determine cause and effects regarding nonconforming products while establishing corrective measures to resolve the issue.
· Develop plans to enhance employee skill sets and maximize their abilities.
· Maintain cost controls and budgets
· Ensure all aspects of the Safety program are being followed by all employees.
Secondary Functions
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Specifications
· Education - Associate degree or comparable experience required.
· Knowledge or Training - Three to five years’ leadership experience. Manufacturing experienced preferred.
· Experience - Strong leadership skills with ability to earn respect, promote teamwork, and lead by example. Proficient with Microsoft Excel. Excellent Attendance record
· Equipment/Tools - Computer, micrometer, tape measure, square, and testing equipment.
