Here at CCI, we work with adults with Intellectual Disabilities who live in their own home and need our support.
Our participants enjoy many activities from coloring and crafts to posting videos on you tube, hiking, going to the gym, watching movies, hanging out with their peers, attending festivals and craft fairs, enjoying lazy days, etc..
As a direct support professional you have the ability to live life with our participants, build meaningful relationships, help them reach their goals and at the end of the day, go home feeling accomplished and good about the work you do!
A few examples of your work day:
- Go to a social activity, such as a movie or bowling
- Find recipes, plan meals, grocery shop, and help cook
- Encourage participants to maintain a clean home and practice self care.
- Assist in maintaining relationships with family members and friends.
- Model Socially acceptable behavior.
- Assist participants in dressing correctly for the weather
- If you work a night shift with sleep time, while they sleep you can sleep too! You can also do homework, scroll Facebook, watch movies quietly, etc.

Schedule Options:
- Day - part time or full time, shifts 8am-8pm (set schedule of 24-48 hrs/wk depending on shifts available) up to $3166/month
- Night - shifts with sleep time 8pm-8am (set schedule of 24-48 hrs/wk depending on shifts available) up to $2400/month
We pay hourly; pay days are every other Friday; the pay posted is a monthly average before taxes; PAY DOE
