What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing and Logistics Specialist position at Confidential?
The Purchasing & Logistics Specialist will report to Purchasing Manager and will be an integral part of the Family Office handling the day-to-day procurement activities for the organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the procurement process, maintaining accurate ordering, receiving and FF&E inventory control across the company's portfolio, working closely with the internal stakeholders as well as suppliers and vendors.
- Manage warehouse FF&E inventory by reviewing items for obsolescence, adjustments, excess inventory.
- Generate reports for the procurement team, stock outs, deletions, savings and queries.
- Process incoming invoices and all paperwork for outgoing shipments from the storeroom.
- Manage multiple procurement projects simultaneously, ensuring each one follows the established timelines.
- Maintain the warranty log with project close out information.
- Ensure and maintain confidentiality of all sensitive materials.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
SKILLS AND WORK HABITS / QUALIFICATIONS:
- HS diploma or GED; Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred
- 5 years of experience in Purchasing
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and inventory system(s) preferred
- Knowledgeable in Furniture is a plus
- Ability to quickly learn and use new technology and software applications
- Superior ability to prioritize and focus in a high‐paced, multi‐tasking environment
- Able to work under pressure with constant deadlines and changing priorities while maintaining a calm demeanor
- Highly organized with extreme attention to detail, efficient, punctual, reliable, proactive, self-starter
- Personable and able to work with various individuals effectively
- Flexibility, integrity, and creative problem-solving skills

Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The salary will ultimately be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic location. The company in good faith believes that the posted compensation range is accurate for the role at the posted location at the time of this posting. The ranges may be modified in the future.
Salary : $105,000 - $120,000
