What are the responsibilities and job description for the Real Estate Finance Analyst/Accountant position at Confidential?
The position is responsible for direct oversight of a real estate portfolio consisting of commercial industrial and office space.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
*Timely preparation, review and distribution of all monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages and cash flow projections with variance reporting.
*Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries and process monthly closings.
*Prepare CAM , Tax and Insurance recovery billings.
*Oversee cash management functions. A/P and A/R
*Manage tax, insurance, capital expense and tenant improvement reserves and submit requisitions to the lender as needed.
*Complete bank reconciliations.
*Oversee all intercompany reimbursements.
*Prepare work papers supporting the annual property budgets

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Excel and Yardi
- Experience in balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation
- Tax experience and understanding of financial management principles
- Technical accounting skills and ability to interpret financial reports
