As the premier dog grooming facility in the region we are seeking a highly organized and professional Front Desk Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for our clients and their fur babies. This role is essential in managing the front office operations, ensuring a welcoming environment, and providing administrative support to enhance the efficiency of our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties
- Greet and assist clients and their pups in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently to maintain up-to-date records.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for staff members, ensuring optimal time management.
- Maintain office organization through effective filing systems and office management practices.
- Handle administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
- Utilize systems for basic financial record keeping and customer checkout.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations and support various projects as needed.
Requirements
- Experience in the pet care industry
- Proven experience as a clerk or receptionist is preferred.
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in data entry and calendar management.
- Excellent computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with scheduling systems is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail in proofreading tasks.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously with clients and colleagues alike.
