As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to drive business expansion and build strong relationships within our dealer network, major accounts, and end users.
Role Overview
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding CIP’s market presence. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing dealer and major accounts, and fostering long-term client relationships. This role requires a proactive sales professional with a strong background in B2B sales, account management, and CRM tools like Salesforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue, activity, and customer retention goals.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within dealer networks, major accounts, and direct end users.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
- Build complex quotes
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to develop effective sales strategies and customer solutions.
- Conduct regular outreach to customers, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity, positioning CIP as the preferred choice for material handling solutions.
- Utilize Salesforce and other CRM tools to track leads, manage pipelines, and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Participate in customer account reviews and provide regular reporting on sales activities and performance.
- Represent CIP at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of proven B2B sales experience.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field preferred.
- Background in mechanical, project management, or construction sales is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and other CRM tools.
- Strong account management skills with a track record of driving revenue growth.
- Competency with Microsoft Office and online sales tools.
- Ability to work toward and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Ability to travel 30% nationwide to meet with clients and attend industry events.
