About us: Our company works alongside local manufacturing companies, and we currently are seeking a Site Manager to oversee the cleaning technicians who maintain cleanrooms and laboratory space, as well as our custodial operations. We are looking for a professional individual with a strong work ethic to join our leadership team based in the Lebanon, NH area. We have been in business for over 35 years and continue to grow throughout the country.
OBJECTIVE:
The Site Manager has overall responsibility to ensure that all aseptic cleaning technicians, custodial technicians, supervisors, compliance and management personnel are properly trained on and follow client’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with further responsibility to ensure that all cleaning, disinfecting and documentation expectations are met in accordance with company policy and contract specifications.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- The ability to read and understand in English all revisions of applicable Customer assigned SOPs, policy and procedure.
- The ability to work flexible hours including holidays, weekends, overtime, be on-call and available for special assignments.
- The ability to demonstrate aseptic cleaning techniques, including the ability to lift 40lbs, work overhead and stand for extended periods.
- Leadership competences, e.g. strong communication, team building and people development skills.
- The ability to write English with good handwriting techniques and limited errors.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous GMP cleaning experience in a salaried management role.
- College degree.
- Familiarity in pharmaceuticals, bioresearch, semiconductor, medical device manufacturing cleanroom facilities.
- Familiarity with custodial functions, floor care, equipment, and program development.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
OPERATIONS AND HUMAN RESOURCES
- Perform routine inspections of work areas and document findings.
- Work with the assistant managers and compliance to schedule cross-training sessions.
- Create and continually update a weekly training accountability form. Ensure that the trainers are coached in advance to meet dates.
- Verify that proper counseling has been performed for any missed training dates.
- Provide clarification to any SOP as necessary or requested by an associate.
- Ensure that all training deviation corrections are trained site wide and not just for the area affected.
- Review any deviations and then work with compliance and customer’s management to investigate and develop new systems when necessary. Ensure appropriate training is administered.
- Verify that all personnel have signed the signature log.
- Oversee all GMP documentation errors and ensure proper action is taken and systems are put in place for employee re-training.
- Administer coaching memos in the event of policy or procedure violation, including actions up to terminations of employment.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained.
- Recruit, schedule and attend job fairs. Conduct primary interviews and coordinate second interviews with HR via Teams meetings.
- Call in back-up workers to fill staffing holes and schedule appropriately for vacations.
- Ensure that the dress code is met according to company and customer policy.
- Ensure that all employees are in compliance with federal, state and local wage / hour labor laws.
- Manage and defend unemployment insurance claims as needed.
- Verify accuracy and submit payroll bi-weekly.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Collect key metrics and create and facilitate monthly presentations to client on key performance indicators.
- Attend customer maintenance and other meetings as requested to identify scheduling opportunities and address operational concerns.
- Contact the Customer, Quality Assurance Training or subject matter expert with any questions pertaining to SWIs, SOPs, or Protocols. Make recommendations to the customer if clarifications need to be made to the SOPs.
- Ensue training is entered into the training system with a goal of 100% compliance.
ESSENTIAL SAFETY:
- Safety is of utmost importance: Water for Injection (WFI) are extremely hot lines raised to steam levels each night. Site managers ensure that Aseptic Cleaners use caution and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, breathing masks, rubber gloves around electrical equipment and proper clothing for the specific area in addition to cleanroom gowning.
- Overall management of safety program, injury report investigations and near misses and track for KPIs. Meet with the Customer’s safety representative as required. Notify the Customer’s safety manager of potential safety hazards.
OTHER JOB DUTIES
- Attend customer meetings as required to identify scheduling opportunities and implement corrective action.
- Ensure correct communications both up and down the chain of command
- Ensure proper tracking methods are used for billing when starting new buildings or for Out-of-Scope Work (OSW). Use applicable OSW forms and follow-up with a formal Purchase Order from the Customer.
- Ensure there is a back-up trained for Pascal data entry.

- Janitorial Site Supervisor
- GMP Cleaning Shift supervisors / Leads.
COMPENSATION:
- Salaried Exempt.
