What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor position at Confidential?
The company is in search of a Supervisor for our Manufacturing Facility in Ogden, UT. This position will oversee daily operation of assigned shift/department while adhering to the company policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for all employees on assigned shift/department.
- Ensure that all lines/roles are adequately manned and that employees are performing their jobs safely and correctly.
- Responsible for making sure that all employees take assigned breaks and lunches.
- Complete necessary paperwork and turn in as instructed.
- Work with team members to ensure that they have what they need to perform their duties.
- Make sure that plant/warehouse is kept clean of debris and orderly and keep an eye out for potential safety hazards.
- Clearly understand and follow safety protocol while ensuring the team does the same.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements and qualifications:
- Ability to work under minimum supervision.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to understand oral and written instructions.
- Good people/management skills.
- Must be able to perform all duties on line or in department.
- 2 Years of forklift experience
Desired Skills, Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience as a Supervisor
- Previous leadership experience is preferred but not required
