We are seeking an experienced, well-organized Transaction Coordinator to join our fast-paced real estate team. MUST have experience and be well-versed in California Real Estate contracts with a CA RE License. The ideal candidate excels at following systems and improving processes, works well from a list, and can strategically manage tasks without much direction. The TC must be detail-oriented but maintain a high level of fluidity and flexibility. The tasks that must be performed to get a contract to closing do not always happen in a linear manner, and it is because of this fluid nature of the tasks that keen attention to detail is necessary. Your responsibilities will include overseeing all aspects of seller and buyer transactions, ensuring a successful sales transaction cycle and wowing our clients with well timed updates. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with a high attention to detail and follow through, well-organized, have the ability to take the initiative and personal accountability, and is results-oriented. Responsibilities:
- Input client information into the client database system, track transaction activities, and submit each necessary document to the office broker for file compliance
- Supervise all administrative duties for home buyer and seller transactions from contract to close
- Look over all paperwork to confirm they have the correct signatures and dates, assuring that the closing process has been done accurately and efficiently in a timely manner meeting all deadlines
- Make sure the buyer’s offer and counteroffers get approved by the seller to ensure a smooth real estate sales process
- Support sales agents, clients, and other parties with escrow-related paperwork, such as appraisals, titles, and mortgage loans
- Work well independently as well as be able to integrate our internal systems into the transaction coordination process
- Perform administrative tasks for the lead team members/departments as it relates to each transaction
- Be available on evenings and weekends as needed (this position will compensate well for this availability) and be able to self manage the transaction cycle
Qualifications:
- Must be an experienced Transaction Coordinator in the real estate industry
- Must be knowledgable and experienced with California RE Contracts / Paperwork
- Must have excellent organization and communication skills
- Must be detail oriented with proper grammar and spelling
- Customer service driven
- Driven by a desire to provide excellent customer service and a great customer experience
- California real estate license preferred, if not willing to obtain a license within 6 months will be considered
- High school diploma or GED required, preferably some college experience
- Flexible availability, including nights and weekends as needed (willingness to be on-call after hours)
- Ability to work remotely as an Independent Contractor
