We are looking for a motivated Used Car Manager with experience and excellent customer service skills to help take our Used Car department to the next level!
Overview
The Used Car Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations of the used car department within our dealership. This position is responsible for managing inventory, driving sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the automotive market, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Duties
- Lead and manage the used car sales team to achieve sales targets and enhance performance.
- Oversee inventory management, including vehicle acquisition, pricing strategies, and merchandising.
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote used car sales.
- Foster relationships with customers through excellent phone etiquette and public speaking skills.
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in sales processes.
- Provide ongoing training and support to sales staff in retail sales techniques and software usage.
- Ensure compliance with all dealership policies and procedures while maintaining high ethical standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and enhance customer experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales management within the automotive industry or related field.
- Strong knowledge of retail math and inventory management practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in Spanish being a plus.
- Ability to effectively present information in public speaking settings.
- Proficient in using various software applications related to automotive sales and inventory tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team, motivate staff, and drive results.

Pay: $115,812.00 - $132,677.00 per year
