The Vice President, Finance & Administration is a strategic executive leader responsible for overseeing the financial management, planning, and administrative functions of U.S. commercial operations. This role partners closely with the commercial team to drive financial performance, optimize operational efficiencies, and support strategic growth initiatives. As a key member of the leadership team, the VP will ensure compliance with public company financial reporting requirements, implement robust financial controls, and provide data-driven insights to support business decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute financial strategies that align with business objectives and drive commercial success.
- Partner with commercial leaders to optimize pricing strategies, revenue forecasting, and profitability analysis.
- Provide financial leadership on investment decisions, including market expansion, new product launches, and strategic partnerships.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
Financial Operations & Compliance
- Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with applicable regulations, GAAP, and SOX requirements.
- Lead financial planning & analysis (FP&A) to provide insights on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational efficiency.
- Oversee tax, treasury, and risk management strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize financial risks.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including coordination with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
Commercial & Business Partnership
- Act as a strategic partner to commercial leadership, providing financial insights to drive sales growth and market expansion.
- Collaborate with business teams to assess performance, profitability, and cost management.
- Support contract negotiations with key customers, distributors, and healthcare providers, ensuring financial viability.
- Drive operational efficiencies across commercial operations, optimizing SG&A expenses while supporting business growth.
Corporate Administration & Leadership
- Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to corporate strategy, M&A due diligence, and integration of acquisitions within the business.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
- Experience: 10 years in a financial leadership role in a publicly traded, global MedTech or life sciences company.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, reporting, and compliance within a commercial setting.
- Experience working closely with sales and marketing teams to drive business performance.
- Proven leadership in managing finance and administrative functions in a complex, global organization.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of global public company requirements, including GAAP, SOX, and GDPR compliance.
Salary : $180,000 - $220,000
