About the Role
The Company is seeking an IT Audit Assistant Vice President to join their team. The successful candidate will be tasked with the planning, design, and execution of audit coverage strategies for IT systems, applications, and operations. This role involves contributing to the company's-wide audit risk assessments, performing assigned audits, and reviewing auditor work papers. The Assistant Vice President will also be responsible for updating audit programs, risk assessments, and plans, as well as recommending improvements to streamline the audit methodology and optimize the use of the audit workflow. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7-10 years' of experience as a business or control manager in IT audit. Familiarity with regulatory standards such as FFIEC, COSO, COBIT, and ISO is essential, as is deep IT lifecycle expertise for pre-implementation reviews. The role requires a candidate who is well-versed in core banking systems, transactional platforms, and workflow tools. The ideal candidate will be adept at issue tracking, risk-based validation, and evaluating management action plans to ensure that audit issues are adequately addressed.
