About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Director / VP for New Product Planning and Competitive Intelligence. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the company's mission to develop novel medicines that normalize the function of the CFTR protein, with a focus on revolutionizing the treatment paradigm for CF. This role is pivotal in leading the commercial planning for the pipeline portfolio, including assessing unmet needs, and opportunities for differentiation, refining target product profiles, and conducting market access and HEOR planning. The Senior Director / VP will also be responsible for evaluating the competitive landscape, generating revenue forecasts, and providing strategic input on asset development and portfolio prioritization decisions.
Applicants must have a minimum of 9 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a strong background in new product planning and commercial strategy. Experience in rare diseases or pulmonary settings is preferred. The role requires a deep understanding of the drug development process, clinical trial design, and regulatory pathways, as well as a proven track record in developing commercial strategies for clinical-stage assets. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and the capacity to influence senior leadership. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with an advanced degree such as an MBA, PharmD, or PhD in life sciences is preferred.
