About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Strategic Sourcing to join their Integrated Supply Chain Senior Leadership Team. This critical role involves driving the vision, strategy, and execution of sourcing and supply chain initiatives to achieve significant cost savings, optimize payment terms, and align with business goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for a $500M spend portfolio, leading high-priority strategic initiatives, and developing strategic supplier partnerships at the C-Suite level. The role also requires the creation of a multi-year strategic plan for sourcing, evaluation of sourcing technology, and the ability to influence cross-functionally to secure support for procurement initiatives. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 15 years' experience in supply chain functions. A minimum of 7 years' of experience in leading teams is also required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supplier relationship development, global supply chain and logistics management, and experience in a matrixed organization. Essential skills include contract negotiation, commodity strategy planning, project and product management, and expertise in process improvement, automation, and Six Sigma. The role demands a leader who can build and mentor a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive supply chain and sourcing organization, and who is adept at translating strategic objectives into a project roadmap.
