Job Title: Vice President & General Manager
Objective: Lead and support the business to ensure short- and long-term profitability, growth, and development in alignment with corporate objectives. Oversee sales, marketing, product development, technical support, and operations for the manufacturing facility, supply chain, and customer service functions. Direct sales efforts across multiple international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies to achieve growth and profit goals.
- Drive profitable expansion in sales and markets through effective strategies, programs, and policies.
- Plan, budget, and control expenses to meet financial objectives.
- Recruit, develop, and motivate management talent to ensure organizational success.
- Oversee and guide the Customer Service Support Team to deliver high-quality customer care.
- Stay informed on new technologies and services to optimize business growth.
- Foster productive relationships across the company to maximize customer satisfaction and resource efficiency.
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, assess customer satisfaction, and identify new business opportunities.
- Engage with industry leaders and executives to explore acquisition or alliance opportunities.
- Ensure marketing and sales strategies are effective through market intelligence and communication networks.
- Manage and evaluate agents and distributors to achieve targeted sales and profit levels.
- Oversee operations at the manufacturing facility.
Challenges & Complexity:
- Balancing short- and long-term business goals amid evolving regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements.
- Navigating market shifts, technological advancements, and competitive pressures across multiple regions (North & South America, Korea, Japan, Taiwan).
- Driving growth in a limited-growth industry by differentiating our company through value-added services and strategic market positioning.
- Managing cost controls while fostering sales growth without relying on routine price increases.
- Staying informed on emerging technologies and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Influencing cross-functional teams and decision-making at all levels within the company to achieve company objectives.
- Exercising broad decision-making authority within corporate guidelines, with direct advisory input to the President & CEO.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business or physical sciences (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 10–15 years of management experience, with at least 5 years in sales/marketing.
- Strong technical, managerial, and organizational skills, with expertise in negotiation, presentations, and communication.
- Creative problem-solving abilities with a track record of implementing successful strategies.
- Knowledge of finance, manufacturing, and distribution techniques is highly desirable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
