Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Warehouse Shop Maintenance Technician. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our warehouse facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of warehouse equipment, ensuring all machinery operates efficiently and safely.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues within the warehouse, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance workshop and adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to address equipment issues and provide timely solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of repair parts and supplies.
- Assist in implementing preventative maintenance programs and recommend improvements to existing processes.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in warehouse maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, including occasional weekends or evenings.
