Position Overview: As a Supervisor at our Data Centers, you will lead a team of production associates responsible for tasks related to loading and unloading freight, accounting for materials using multiple systems, and overseeing the assembly and installation of server racks and their components. Your role is essential in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining safety standards, and enhancing process efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
What You Will Enjoy Doing (Duties/Tasks):
- Oversee Inventory and Material Management:
- Organize and coordinate cycle counts, inventory replenishments, and material returns.
- Ensure accurate accounting for materials using multiple systems.
- Ensure Safety and Compliance:
- Implement and enforce adequate safety measures to protect personnel and property.
- Monitor work areas to ensure accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Provide Guidance and Support:
- Advise subordinates on questions or problems related to work activities.
- Perform or assist subordinates in the performance of their duties as needed.
- Enhance Operational Efficiency:
- Recommend and implement documented changes to procedures to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Oversee the assembly and installation of server racks and their components to ensure optimal performance and adherence to standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a production or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and material handling processes.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to implement and enforce safety protocols.
- Proficiency in using multiple systems for material accounting.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a data center environment.
- Knowledge of server rack assembly and installation.
- Certification in safety management or related fields.
