What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Helper position at Confidential?
The Midnight Express Powerboats is looking for a responsible hard working yard helper . The yard helper assists with a variety of tasks from preparing boats to maintaining the facility clean ready for operations. Ability to drive a boat is not required but a plus. Applicants should be team players looking to grow with the company.
KEY TASKS:
- Assist in the delivery of product to customer whenever needed, including but not limited to delivering trailer boats, cleaning boats with appropriate products
- Assist forklift and detail teams when needed
- Assist with set up of boat shows and other on/off-site promotional events
- Assist with cleaning and maintenance of the dealership to ensure a professional work environment conducive to selling
- Must be able to operate trailer or forklift for moving boats.
- Cleaning trailers as well as facility.
- Moving heavy objects around.
- Using various ropes, knots and radio and navigational equipment.
- Assisting during emergencies and effectively using safety equipment.
- Performing general maintenance duties like painting, sweeping and mopping.
- Other Duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
