Purpose
Performs operational support duties that include assisting the Retail Insurance Agency in resolving customer account data discrepancies, escalated issues, and overpayments on auto insurance policies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide support to insurance agents by answering emails and/or working ServiceNow tickets
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies on customer account balances. This includes, but is not limited to, correction and/or creation to policy lines of business, issuing customer refunds, and writing off of fees
- Export/receive and save monthly insurance company commission statement data
- Compile and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly carrier transaction reports
- Mail customer notifications for returned/disputed payments
- Calculate and issue refunds for customer overpayments
- Add refund check data to customer accounts
- Verify accuracy of customer refund and return premium checks

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in insurance, banking, finance, or consumer loan industries required
Preferred Skills
- Working knowledge of Windows, Internet Explorer, and Microsoft Office
- Effective oral and written communications skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-paced setting, work under pressure, and meet required deadlines
- Strong time management and organizational skills
