Summary :
Performs a variety of duties related to accounting and the processing of all accounts payable invoices to include accurate and timely payments. Assist AP supervisor with internal and external requests from internal and external customers during audits and system project implementation. Provides thoughtful process improvements when applicable.
Essential Functions :
Opens mail daily and coordinates with others on team to opening mail.Participates in shared management of the A / P email box.Receive and enter incoming invoices into the ERP system.Appropriately assign invoices for approval using the ERP system.Work with Supply Chain department to resolve receiving, cost message or other issues with invoice matching.Review and reconcile vendor statements and initiate communication with vendors to resolve outstanding issues.Assist in coordinating with auditors and consultants on Accounts Payable issues.Assist in updating and maintaining of contract payments and recurring payments.Scan entered invoices into a Data Management System and retrieve invoices for review.Process and research credit invoices and contact vendors for refund checks as needed.Reviews invoices for use tax due at time of data entry.Research, Understand and apply knowledge regarding sales / use tax to processing of invoices.Process weekly or as needed payment runs for vendors and / or patients.Demonstrate a willingness to responds to requests for information from department directors or representatives related to there monthly expenses or GL coding issues.Void, stop and reissue payments when needed.Maintain data and prepare for accurate processing of annual 1099s.Track additional AP and RNI for monthly processing.Performs other duties as assigned by Accounting Supervisor and AP Lead or other departmental leadership.Demonstrate Standards of Behavior and adhere to the Code of Conduct in all aspects of job performance at all times.
Qualifications : Required :
High School graduation or GED.Two years accounting, bookkeeping or related experience.Must possess basic computer skills related to Windows navigation, mouse usage, keyboarding, email communication and password management.Computer experience.Excellent customer service, high degree of organization and problem-solving skills.Ability to be flexible, inquisitive by nature.Desired :
Further education in bookkeeping or accounting from a business school, community college or university highly desired.Physical / Sensory Demands :
