Summary
The Materials Delivery Technician facilitates timely deliveries of paperwork, inter-office mail, equipment, patient specimens, supplies and other items as needed throughout Confluence Health. This position requires an individual who can work independently with minimal supervision.
Position Reports To: Supply Chain Operations Director
Essential Functions
- Responds to requests and redistributes items throughout the facility, including off-site campuses in a timely, quality and friendly manner.
- Operates Company delivery vehicle.
- Load, unload, and prepare delivery vehicle with cargo.
- Ensuring proper delivery paperwork and records are completed.
- Answer phone calls when necessary, responding to needs in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean vehicle and complete appropriate safety and inspection records.
- Follows DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Works with hand trucks and other transport vehicles.
- Other duties as assigned.
Demonstrate Standards of Behavior and adhere to the Code of Conduct in all aspects of job performance at all times.
Position Requirements
Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is an essential requirement of working at Confluence Health. Religious and medical exemptions will be considered upon request.
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid WA State driver’s License.
- Good communication skills.
- Must possess basic computer skills related to Windows navigation, mouse usage, keyboarding, email communication and password management.
- No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years.
Desired:
- Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal.
