About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting licensed pharmacists with various tasks, including screening calls, taking messages, and relaying information accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with routine tasks, including admitting patients into the computer system and creating patient charts
- Enter patient demographic, medical, and insurance information into the computer system
- Process third-party billing and reconciliation
- Adhere to policy and procedures related to narcotic documentation, distribution, and record-keeping
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Active Washington State Pharmacy Technician License or Pharmacist Intern Registration required
- Basic computer skills necessary, including Windows navigation, mouse usage, accurate keyboarding, email communication, and password management
