Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for operationalizing and executing team and project activities. This role involves collaboration with perioperative managers at both campuses, the Project Management Office (PMO), project owners, and subject matter experts to develop and manage project timelines throughout the project's lifecycle. The Operations Manager is a highly adaptable and high-functioning resource for the Perioperative team, conducting project work such as surveys, interviews, project management, educational needs assessments, regulatory compliance, and managing equipment and capital purchases.

Essential Functions
Creates, maintains and controls assigned project schedules.Delegates responsibilities to applicable resources and holds them accountable for assigned tasks.Tracks progress made on tasks on a daily basis.Collaborates with Ancillary departments for quality, regulatory and infection control standards.Communicates the status of the projects to appropriate stakeholders [written and verbal].Organizes project team meetings, issues meeting minutes and tracks action items to completion.Identifies issues and mitigation plans early. Escalates appropriately.Maintains and organizes all project files in a centralized document repository. The documents should be clear and accessible to all project team members and project owners.Ensures projects and project teams are properly set-up, team roles and responsibilities are clear, deliverables and risks are identified, and detailed project schedules are in place.Applies project management best practices in the planning, alignment, initiation, execution, control, transition and close of all assigned projects.Facilitate lessons learned / debrief after project completion.Provides a guide for the educators for competencies, in-services, Peri- and , and other education needs.Other duties as assigned.Demonstrate Standards of Behavior and adhere to the Code of Conduct in all aspects of job performance at all times.
Qualifications
Required :
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing with 4 years of recent / relevant experience and 2 years of leadership experience.Current licensure in the state of Washington (RCW or licensure through Multistate Nurse Licensure Compact (SSB 9).Ability to create, implement and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).Experience managing multiple projects with team members in multiple locations.Proficient at using Microsoft office software including : Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Exercises foresight and judgement in making complex decisions, communicates clearly and frequently and can work independently.Desired :
CNOR Certification.Success in delivering projects on time and within budget.5 years of leadership experience with strong interpersonal skills.Experience in lean principles, ability to change management methodologies to manage organizational changes.Master's degree desired in nursing or business.Physical / Sensory Demands

Work is done throughout Central Washington Hospital and other Confluence Health Properties. Some work areas may be small, crowded, and confined.
