We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician III reporting to the R&D Manager, to join our talented team in Warwick, RI.

Summary

Duties and Responsibilities

Works with Engineering to overcome technical challenges. Reviews customer specifications, helps with Strategy to meet needs. In-depth knowledge of textile equipment set up and troubleshooting. Able to work independently to perform work required. Review documents and fill out forms required neatly and legibly. Performs tasks related to assembly, inspections, measurements, and manufacturing of textiles as required. Understands and follows all rules related to GMP, documentation and clean room requirements. Takes direction from Project Lead and performs duties in a skilled and timely manner.

Minimum Job Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5-10 years of direct textile experience setting up and running weaving and knitting looms.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Familiarity with clean room environments preferred.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Able to contribute to technical solutions and communicate effectively with members of the team, participate in team meetings.
• Offer textile and other training to peers.
• Able to analyze woven/knitted constructs, troubleshoot machine issues and set-up weaving and knitting looms.
• Works independently and with team members, achieving required objectives.
• Willing to learn new job related tasks.
• Performs inspections, assembly and measurement duties.
• Able to run light manufacturing equipment.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
