About the Role :
As a Cloud Sales Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in Confluent’s Customer Growth go-to-market strategy. Responsible for leading a team of Cloud Account Executives (AE), you and your team are the heart of our new logo sales growth engine. This team of Cloud AEs is passionate about acquiring new customers, growing the streaming data ecosystem, and developing their sales skills. You will be measured on your team’s overall quota, new logo acquisition, and growing Confluent Cloud consumption usage.

What You Will Do :
- Proactively hire, train, coach, and manage a team of motivated Cloud AEs to increase Confluent’s footprint in strategic and emerging markets.
- Mentor your staff and help them to refine their sales skills.
- Inspire a culture of hard work, collaboration, customer love, and ongoing improvement.
- Develop productive and trusting relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Encourage and support continuous learning and understanding of a technical product and technical customer base.
- Build and execute your team’s success plans, ensuring forecast accuracy and the growth of a predictable, ambitious business.
- Grow consumption in Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) and Commit accounts driving Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) across your territory.

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $97,200 - $128,520, a competitive equity package and is also eligible for additional commission and / or bonus pay. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Confluent offers a wide range of employee benefits.
