Role: SAP BPC Consultant
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility of Extension)
Location: Houston, TX (onsite)
Summary:
Westlake Chemical in Houston, TX, has a new resource need, specific details from the client are listed below. They would like someone to start 4/14/25 or 4/21/25. The initial contract would go through 12/31/25 with a likely extension beyond this initial period.
Technical & Industry Experience
- 5 years of SAP BPC Consolidation experience (must).
- Experience in leading / implementing multiple BPC Consolidation projects.
- Experience in Annual Operating Plan, Rolling Forecast etc. in BPC.
- Experience in production support of BPC (handling tickets, fixing systems issues).
- Project Management experience with ability to manage the A&F stakeholders.
- Consulting experience with a large Consulting company is a plus.
- Business Process Knowledge in Finance & Accounting.
- Excellent knowledge of the financial consolidation process.
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting for SEC, US Tax and internal management purposes.
- Experience in integrating acquired entities (M&A) into a financial reporting system.
- Current hands-on experience in BPC (Must be doing this within the last 6 months).
- Experience with BPC Netweaver Version.
- Hands on Experience to design and implement the data load from different source ERP system including SAP to data warehouse (SAP BW) and /or financial reporting systems.
- Excellent knowledge of Dimension Management, Data Modelling (Applications), Script Logics, Business Rules, Intercompany Eliminations, US Eliminations and DM Packages.
- Expert level knowledge of SAP BPC EPM Reporting - Report Editor, EPM Report Functions.
- Experience in End User Training.
- Integration of SAP FI/CO and BPC (including Transaction type, trading partner).

SAP BW (Business Warehouse)
Education & Training
4 year college degree with specialization in Accounting (a non-U.S. degree should be equivalent to a 4yr U.S. degree) OR CPA or CPA equivalent from another country
