What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Scientist position at CONFLUX SYSTEMS?

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct hands-on bench work for beverage product development and ingredient testing.
- Perform shelf-life and product/packaging interaction studies; explore opportunities to accelerate testing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, R&D, Marketing, and Regulatory teams to meet project goals.
- Apply Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and maintain lab equipment through calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Support recipe development, innovation, and prototyping through lab- and pilot-scale production.
- Utilize digital tools to document formulas, conduct data analysis, and drive innovation.
- Share insights, support decision-making, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field.
- Proficient in English; willing to travel up to 10% annually.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in bench-scale beverage development and familiarity with industry standards.
- Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and data tools (Excel, Forms); experience with AI or digital prototyping is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with experimental design and statistical analysis is advantageous.
