What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at Conflux Systems?
Responsible for moving, picking, packing, and storing materials in production, storage, and shipping areas. Operates forklifts and other equipment to load/unload goods and ensure accurate handling and documentation of materials. Initially Contract and then converted to FTE. After conversion to FTE payrate increases to 19.22$ and will get hike for every 6 Months.
Essential Functions:
Reads work orders and prepares materials accordingly
Moves materials using forklifts or by hand
Packs, seals, and labels products for shipping
Operates storage equipment and performs cycle counts
Documents inventory movement and prepares shipping documents
Communicates with purchasing on material issues
Performs minor assembly and maintains work area cleanliness
Conducts forklift checks and basic equipment upkeep
Completes tasks assigned by supervisor
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Skills: Basic computer literacy; familiarity with mechanical/measuring tools
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, and climb
Strong hand-eye coordination
English literacy (read/write/comprehend)
