Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Material Supervisor oversees material handling and inventory operations to support efficient production workflows. This role ensures timely material distribution, accurate inventory management, and compliance with safety standards while leading a team of material handlers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials to production lines
• Monitor and control inventory levels; conduct regular audits
• Lead and train material handling staff; manage performance evaluations
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure material availability
• Enforce safety protocols and company policies
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Maintain accurate records and generate inventory reports

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; degree in supply chain or related field preferred
• 3–5 years of material handling/inventory experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in inventory management systems
• Ability to lift/move heavy materials and work in a manufacturing setting
