JOB PURPOSE:
This individual will cultivate enduring relationships with prospects and clients, managing sales activities within their designated territory. They will focus on nurturing existing relationships, introducing our products and services to new prospects, and expanding our customer base. This role entails achieving sales quotas and strategic territory objectives. They will advocate a diverse range of company offerings to customers and prospects, orchestrating the customer account planning cycle to ensure alignment with Conger's commitments and exceed customer expectations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
· Achieves assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.
· Leads solution development efforts that effectively address customer needs, coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel.
· Manages a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success and growth.
· Develop positive relationships with clients, acting as their point of contact and addressing individual needs.
· Generates new business through existing and potential customer networks.
· Resolves conflicts and provides timely solutions to customers.
· Recommends actions to improve sales performance and identifies opportunities for growth.
· Monitors sales metrics such as weekly opportunities, annual forecasts, and monthly sales to optimize performance.
· Maintains regular and punctual attendance in accordance with company policies

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
· Preferred prior experience in the material handling equipment industry.
· Strong internet and computer skills are essential.
· Highly motivated with exceptional organizational abilities; detail and goal-oriented.
· Effective communication skills necessary to achieve objectives
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Preferred: 2 years of relevant industry experience.
· Minimum requirement: Valid driver's license.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work Environment:
- Work is primarily conducted in an office setting, with frequent visits to customer sites.
- The role involves significant time focused on a computer screen for tasks such as data entry, email communication, and generating quotes.
- Travel is a key aspect of the position, requiring the ability to drive to various locations, both internal and external to the company.
- Potential exposure to moving mechanical parts, dust, fumes, chemicals, or solvents may occur, necessitating adherence to safety protocols.
- Interaction with diverse environments and conditions is expected, reflecting the dynamic nature of customer visits and business operations.
Physical Demands:
- The position requires normal manual dexterity for tasks such as typing on a keyboard and using a phone.
- Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds may be necessary, particularly when transporting materials or equipment.
