Responsibilities

Chassis Repair – Maintenance Technicians are charged with repairing containers, trailers and chassis. Repair & Replacement work includes but is not limited to; containers, lights, tires, landing legs, brakes and framework. In occasion performing light welding when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year verifiable mechanic experience in ANY industry
• Minimum of 1-year verifiable experience working on 50lbs commercial tires.
• Minimum of 1-year verifiable experience working Automotive Electrical wiring
• Ability to lift more than 50lbs
• Open availability (Nights, Weekends, & Holidays)
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
• Must have basic set of hand tools
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening
• The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. Use of cannabis is strictly prohibited. If applicable for the position you are applying to, and if you are offered the position, you will have to take and pass a drug screen.
