Responsibilities
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Entry-Level Container Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the repair and maintenance of containers, as well as domestic and intermodal equipment. If you have hands-on experience with welding, fabrication, and general mechanical repairs—or you're ready to learn in a fast-paced environment—this is a great opportunity to build your career in the skilled trades.
Key Responsibilities
Perform repairs on containers, domestic, and intermodal equipment.
Select and work with appropriate materials for welding and fabrication tasks.
Layout, cut, align, and fit components for welding and painting.
Bolt, clamp, tack-weld, or otherwise secure parts in place for repair.
Operate and maintain welding equipment to complete necessary repairs.
Replace, repair, and install tire and wheel components as needed.
Conduct general depot maintenance and assist with various repair duties.
Perform sheet metal fabrication tasks and install/remove plywood flooring.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Carry out other tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Willingness to learn and grow in a hands-on work environment.
Familiarity with hand and power tools used in metal fabrication and repair.
Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents is a plus.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, outdoor/industrial environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Valid driver’s license
- Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening
