Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Overview:
ConGlobal is hiring immediately for a key position within our global supply chain, offering competitive pay and opportunities for future career growth. The starting salary is $26.00-$33.50 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and repair heavy duty lift equipment at the railyard.
- Perform maintenance and mechanical repairs on side loaders (loaded container handler), hostlers (semi tractor), forklifts, and support equipment.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of heavy equipment mechanic/service technician experience required.
- Previous crane mechanic experience a plus.
- Hydraulic systems experience required (pumps, valves, motors, filters, and hoses).
- Driveline component repair experience (axles, bearings, ring, etc.).
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work in a safety-focused environment.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical, and drug screening.
