Responsibilities:
As an Intermodal Equipment Operator/Terminal Operator, you will assist intermodal yards in loading, unloading, and moving shipping containers using various tools and equipment. Opportunities exist to operate hostlers and/or move containers with cranes, top loaders, and side loaders.
Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License
- Adherence to safety protocols and practices at all times
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
- Able to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
- Lifting capacity of up to 50lbs
- Climbing ladders and stairs on and off railcars
- Passing pre-employment background verification, physical, and drug screening
- The Federal Rail Administration enforces strict safety regulations. Use of cannabis is strictly prohibited. You must pass a drug screen if applicable.
