Key Responsibilities

• Reprocess endoscopes following manufacturers' IFUs and standards (AAMI, SGNA, AORN, CDC).
• Maintain endoscopic and reprocessing equipment and inventory.
• Perform safety checks, ensure equipment functionality, and coordinate repairs.
• Clean, disinfect, and calibrate endoscopes and related instruments per guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with documentation requirements and infection control protocols.
• Operate automated washers, sterilizers, and reprocessors per guidelines.
• Inspect, assemble, and package medical instruments with 100% accuracy.
• Ensure proper documentation and distribution of sterilized items.
• Maintain consistent communication regarding workflow and equipment issues.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service training sessions.

Requirement

• High School Diploma / GED
• 2 years' experience in scope reprocessing and central supply or O.R. processing
• 2 years' Inpatient Hospital experience
• Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) (must obtain within 18 months)
• Basic computer literacy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Ability to be on feet all shift & move
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision
