Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and execute functional test cases based on business and functional requirements.
- Validate software functionality across various environments and platforms to ensure compliance with specifications. Conduct manual testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and deviations from expected functionality.
- Collaborate with development teams to replicate issues and validate fixes.
- Participate in requirement analysis sessions to align testing strategies with business goals.
- Provide detailed, well-structured defect reports with reproduction steps, severity, and impact analysis.
- Perform end-to-end functional testing, including integration and system testing.
Required Skills:
- 10 years of manual testing experience with a focus on functional testing.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Proficiency in test management tools like JIRA and TestRail.
- Experience writing and executing test cases, test plans, and defect reports.
- Basic knowledge of database queries (SQL) for backend validation.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting and stakeholder interaction.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (optional).
