Job Summary:

• Design and develop Java-based applications using Java 8 or above, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful services.
• Implement microservices architecture adhering to cloud principles, especially AWS.
• Handle asynchronous communication with Kafka or other JMS broker solutions to ensure high performance and scalability.
• Develop and deploy containerized applications on AWS using Kubernetes.
• Utilize AWS services including EKS, EMR, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, SNS, and Elasticache to build cloud-hosted applications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Apply knowledge of CI/CD processes using GitLab, jUnit, and Terraform for continuous integration and deployment.
• Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation for automated provisioning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct proof of concepts (POCs) and solve complex problems.

Required Skills:

• 6 years of experience in Java (8 or above), Spring Boot, Spring Core, Hibernate, RESTful services, Kafka, Oracle, Jenkins, and GIT.
• Hands-on experience in microservices design and development.
• Strong understanding of cloud principles, particularly AWS services such as EKS, EMR, HBase, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, SNS, and Elasticache.
• Experience in multi-threaded programming and system architecture design.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools (GitLab, jUnit, Terraform).
• Proficiency in managing asynchronous communication using Kafka or other JMS broker solutions.
• Experience in infrastructure creation using Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to research and conduct POCs.
