The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks to maintain system integrity in an enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform vulnerability assessments and scans to detect security weaknesses in applications and systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize and address vulnerabilities efficiently.
- Develop and execute remediation plans aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Utilize advanced cybersecurity tools for vulnerability detection and analysis.
- Recommend security solutions to strengthen the organization's security posture.
- Maintain detailed documentation on vulnerability management processes and remediation strategies.
- Provide guidance and best practice recommendations to team members.
- Prepare reports on vulnerability metrics, progress, and security anomalies.
- 4 years of hands-on experience in vulnerability management and remediation.
- Deep understanding of security threats, risk mitigation, and remediation strategies.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python or similar).
- Experience with APIs and security tool integrations.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools like SNYK, Qualys, Wiz, Prisma Cloud, GitHub Advanced Security, and Container Security.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS.
- Understanding of cloud security principles with experience in AWS.
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security preferred).
