Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Test Manager in the insurance domain to manage testing activities for insurance software and systems. The ideal candidate should have expertise in the following:
- Test Strategy & Planning: Experience in developing and implementing test strategies tailored to insurance applications such as claims processing, underwriting, and policy administration.
- Testing Methodologies: Proficiency in testing methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
- Test Management Tools: Expertise in using tools like JIRA and TestRail for managing test cases, test data, and environments.
- Test Automation: Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and QTP (QuickTest Professional) for automating insurance-related business processes.
- Testing Types: Knowledge of API testing, performance testing, and security testing.
- End-to-End Testing: Oversee SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and regression testing for insurance products.
- Insurance Applications: Proven experience in testing claims systems, policy administration platforms, underwriting platforms, or broker portals.
- Compliance: Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements impacting insurance systems (e.g., GDPR, Solvency II).
- 5-7 years in test management, specifically with insurance industry projects (property & casualty preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ISTQB certification or other relevant test management certifications preferred.
