Gan B’nai Shalom Preschool is excited to announce new opportunities for passionate and innovative teachers to join our dynamic team under new management. We are restructuring and seeking educators who are eager to take initiative and play an active role in growing our preschool. Our ideal candidates are those who thrive in new beginnings and are committed to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for our young learners, focusing on both academics and Jewish values.
· Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with both secular and Jewish curricula
- Provide a safe and inclusive classroom environment where children can learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities
- Establish positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Incorporate Jewish traditions, values, and holidays into daily activities
· Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 units in Early Childhood Education, Infant/Toddler units are a bonus
- Previous experience working with two-year-old children in a preschool setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of Jewish culture, traditions, and educational practices is a plus but not required
· Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Background check and fingerprinting
- Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and training
- Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices for young children
- Commitment to upholding the values and mission of our Jewish preschool
