Gan B’nai Shalom Preschool in Walnut Creek is hiring immediately for infant teachers.
Gan B’nai Shalom Preschool is an accredited preschool where children receive a stimulating, creative, and nurturing learning experience that provides them with the foundation to grow educationally, socially, and spiritually. We serve children from six weeks to PreK. Inspired by Jewish values, our program provides opportunities for children’s exploration, self-expression, and strong community building. Each child is special and unique. We encourage each child to develop as an individual and as part of the Jewish community. Our goal is to make learning exciting through a hands-on-approach. We strive to encourage our children to be creative and independent thinkers, as they increase their self-confidence, enhance their independence, and develop a sense of responsibility all within a cultural Jewish framework.
Hours of the preschool are 7:30am-6:00pm and we can be flexible on shifts. We seek candidates for 25-40 hours per week. Pay range is $22-$28 per hour depending on experience.
Teacher Qualifications for the positions:
· 12-15 ECE units and a minimum 1-year experience in a classroom environment
· Creative, dependable, nurturing, team players, who are reliable and are flexible
· Strong communication skills.
· Must pass livescan background check and is willing to take CPR and First Aid training. Candidates must be fully vaccinated.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Develop, lead, and implement a play-based curriculum in collaboration with other teachers
· Ensure students are in a safe environment that promotes development
