The Congregation of Divine Providence - The Moye Retreat Center is looking for an experienced Moye Manager to lead the operations and management of our retreat center with a focus on delivering a meaningful retreat experience. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
- Plan, oversee and carry out all ACTS retreat events.
- Plan and promote specific programs in keeping with the CDP mission.
- Cultivate support and involvement of Castroville community, guests, former students, CDP Associates, and the CDP in the spirit of hospitality.
- Coordinate with Director of Impact and Mission Continuity regarding all publicity items.
- Develop, administer and monitor the financial resources of the Center.
- Plan and request for ongoing maintenance and physical plant needs.
- Report operational concerns and make recommendations to General Council.
- Continue to improve and monitor cost reduction control measures in all aspects of the Center.
- Coordinate recruitment, orientation, development and evaluation of staff members and volunteers with Human Resources.
- Must be able to remain calm when communicating with employees, residents, and guests, especially in challenging situations.
- Supervise the OLLCC Food Service Manager, Housekeeping Manager, and Physical Facilities Manager to ensure that necessary services are provided regularly and as required. Additionally, arrange for timely maintenance services, such as elevator repairs, as needed.
- Demonstrate adherence to the CORE values of the CDP Congregation.

Job Specifications:
Qualifications
- Must be able to competently act independently of daily on-site supervision.
- Proven experience in staff supervision with strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Must be able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.

- Must have own transportation to perform various duties such as delivery of materials and shopping. Must be able to make difficult decisions.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or related field OR
- Three to five years of experience, preferably in property management OR any similar combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of computer programs to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Publisher), Print Shop software, and photo software.
_ Licensure/Certification:_ No licensure/certification required.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds by self while performing job duties such as purchasing supplies, meal and meeting room setup.
- Must be able to move about the facility interior and exterior, including all employee work areas, and all storage and mechanical areas.
- Must be able to sit up to 6 hours a day in chair while performing job duties.
- Must be able to push/pull various items up to 25 pounds while performing job duties.
- Must be able to bend, twist and reach as needed to get materials while performing job functions.
- Must be able to work on computers for up to 7 hours per day (eye strain).
- Must be able to perform job duties in a timely manner.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment when dealing with employees and regarding issues of office and facility functions.
- Must be able to remain calm and professional when communicating especially if the situation is perceived to be abusive and/or threatening.
