Position Summary
The Compliance & Quality Assurance Specialist works to ensure timely and accurate data entry for the Next Step program. This position enters data in PA State and Congreso databases and adheres to federal compliance standards for funder audits. Additionally, the Compliance & Quality Assurance Specialist educates team members on WIOA compliance issues, analyzes program data for trends and program outcomes forecasts, and is responsible for quality assurance with document collection and submission, data entry and tracking, etc.
This position reports to the Next Step Coordinator. This is a Hybrid position.

Compliance
- Trouble-shoot data entry issues with Next Step staff to resolve any discrepancies and assist team with adhering to data entry deadlines, protocols, and WIOA reporting and recording standards.
- Analyzes program data for trends and assists Next Step Coordinator in forecasting program outcomes.
- Educates staff on WIOA compliance issues and best practices.
- Performs data entry tasks within Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel and Access for record-keeping and outcome reporting.
- Helps prepare for funder audits and ensures files and databases are continually audit-ready.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to compile data and validate paperwork for monthly performance-based invoices.
- Attends program events such as graduation, back to school, job fair, etc., as needed.
- Participates in the design of long-range goals and objectives and supports special projects for the Adult Education Department, as needed.
- Works with the Next Step team to document WIOA service needs and follow-up phases of clients.
- Works with clients to obtain accurate and complete program forms and records, as necessary.
Quality Assurance
- Is responsible for quality assurance with document collection and submission, and data entry and monitoring in funder-required and internal databases such as CWDS and UNIDAD.
- Regularly runs progress reports, generates comprehensive program scorecards from internal and external databases, and reports out to team on progress toward outcomes on a weekly basis.
- Presents quarterly program outcomes and key performance metrics.

- Bilingual (Spanish/English) written and verbal skills a plus.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Experience, Education, and Qualifications
Minimum Education: High School diploma, or GED required. Associate’s degree in data, social work or related field a plus.
Minimum Experience:
1-2 years of work experience with data entry, reporting, and compliance in a similar or related program environment required.
Experience with ETO, CWDS and/or other database systems and Excel a plus.
